The new SoundLinks Festival is an Event for chamber music crossover, combining various musical genres with one another and representing cultural diversity. The profile and the unifying elements of the festival is the guitar in different implementations, instrumentation and in new unusual ensemble formations.

The first edition includes the following concerts: Stories for Astor - an interdisciplinary concert by Duo Segotal, combining music, dance and light art; a new format by the Cologne Guitar Quartet called "Fusion Concert"; the Ensemble Cantus Portugueses with orchestral instruments, Portuguese instruments and choir; the innovative MAMI NOVA Project with percussion, piano and vocals; the contemporary project diGIT with new works for electric guitars and electronics; the Brazilian trio in Uno with energetic arrangements of Brazilian music; and, for the first time, a joint concert with the Aachen speGTRa Festival 2022 in Cologne: a diverse program with the Quatuor Eclisses (FR), the vocal ensemble Caleidon of the HfMT Cologne, the Cologne Guitar Quartet, Hans-Werner Huppertz and Vicente Bögeholz.
